In the second quarter of 2024, the US iOS platform saw varied performance among the top personal finance budgeting and planning applications. Sensor Tower's data offers a glimpse into the trends for these financial tools.

EveryDollar: Personal Budget had a steady quarter with downloads peaking at 28K and a strong increase in weekly active users, reaching nearly 290K by the end of June. Revenue trends showed fluctuation, with the highest reported at approximately $170K in late May.

Monarch: Budget & Track Money demonstrated modest performance with downloads hovering around 9K towards the end of June. Weekly active users saw a slight uptick in mid-April, reaching over 51K. Revenue for Monarch ranged between $27K and $37K, indicating a steady income stream for the quarter.

YNAB (You Need A Budget) observed downloads in the range of 7K to 9K, while weekly active users fluctuated modestly, ending the quarter with 69K active users. Revenue for YNAB showed variability but maintained an upward trajectory, closing the quarter at nearly $58K.

Splitwise experienced a surge in downloads in late May, reaching nearly 39K. Weekly active users peaked at the end of April at almost 99K but then saw a declining pattern, finishing the quarter with about 85K active users.
